I finally made time to sort out, and find a way to use and display, some of the instant pics I made with the Leica Sofort instant camera. The pictures are stuck on a till roll, it’s not a very original arrangement, and a bit clumsy, but I had fun.
I bought the camera a few years ago only so I could say that I owned a Leica. The Sofort (the first model) cost a fraction of the cost of an actual digital camera. I should try to find a buyer for my left lung so I can take a Leica onto my next project, a ‘return’ to social documentary photography.
